TRADE HOUSE OF UZBEKISTAN IN IRAN

The Uzbekistan Trade House is a specialized institutional platform designed to significantly enhance economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran, building on their centuries-old historical ties and growing modern partnership. Its operations focus on supporting businesses engaged in cross-border trade by offering advisory services on customs procedures, coordinating logistics through private partnerships, and assisting clients in understanding and navigating regulatory environments without directly intervening in official government processes.

The Trade House also actively promotes bilateral investments by identifying strategic sectors such as textiles, agriculture, energy, and technology, and facilitating joint ventures and financial partnerships. Furthermore, it supports industrial collaboration through targeted matchmaking, knowledge transfer initiatives, and participation in regional infrastructure projects such as the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC), the East-West Trans-Caspian Corridor (linking Central Asia through the Caspian Sea to the South Caucasus and onward to Europe, involving Iran via multimodal transport connections), the Iran-Turkey Corridor (part of the Silk Road Economic Belt), and the Chabahar Port Corridor (connecting Central Asia to the Indian Ocean via southern Iran), and initiatives under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
